Elba is an island near Italy.
Napoleon was exiled to Elba following the Treaty of Fontainebleau after his defeats at the Battle of Leipzig and Battle of Paris. Later, however, he escaped from the island, returning to his empire as Emperor, sparking the "Hundred Days."
